On Tuesday night, China's state news agency Xinhua released a new commentary which talked about their position on the latest tweets from US President-elect Donald Trump regarding Beijing.

In the commentary entitled "Addition to Twitter Diplomacy is Unwise", Xinhua remarked that Trump's constant use of Twitter to announce his foreign policy is raising widespread concerns not just for American politicians and academics but also for the world.

The article was released after Trump tweeted another comment against China, accusing Beijing for not doing enough to contain North Korea's nuclear development program. On Monday, Trump tweeted "China has been taking out massive amounts of money and wealth from the US in totally one-sided trade, but won't help with North Korea. Nice!"

Xinhua slammed Trump and said in the commentary "diplomacy is not child's play and you can't run it like a business."

The commentary also cited Trump's comments on the United Nations as "just a club for people to have a good time."

The article have also said "These tweets have broken decades-old diplomatic protocols head by the US, including some anti-China comments."

With regards to North Korea's nuclear program and its plans to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile at the US mainland, Trump tweeted that Pyongyang does not have the capacity to make an ICBM and "it would not happen."

Trump had also tweeted regarding the seizing of an underwater drone by China and called Beijing a thief. China had returned the drone to the US authorities, but Trump had sent out a series of tweets saying that Beijing could keep the drone with him saying "We should tell China that we don't want the drone they stole back. Let them keep it!"

Since his presidential campaign, Trump has been tweeting regarding his anti-China stance and stressed that China is a currency manipulator and criticized the country for building a "military complex" in the disputed South China Sea.
