Officials of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee visit Shenzhen Business Association :

Several high level officials of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, leaders from the Bureau of Religious and Civil Affairs of Shenzhen, and the United Front Work Department of Shenzhen went to the Christian Business Association of the Shenzhen Christian Three-Self Patriotic Committee (TSPM) for a research forum.

According to the Shenzhen Christian Business Association(SZCBA), President Ma Xingtong talked about the association's work over the last three years at the forum. It is a platform that connects three-self churches and house churches, creatively presenting the concept of "Speak only of Christ and love with no distinction of denominations." Business Christians can join the membership as long as they love the country and the religion and agree with the concept of the three-selves, regardless of the type of church they attend.

The association had designed unique activities on membership day, including Bible study, as well as topics on marriage and family, mental and physical health, career and workplace, public-welfare service, policies and regulations, and so on.

This association has actively worked with the city's CCC&TSPM to successfully host many large-scale events such as the Special Exhibition on nationalized Christianity which was one of the series of cultural exchange events of "New Road to a blessed Faith in China" in 2016. The exhibition included a historical picture exhibition on Christian history in five major churches, Church architectural exhibition with Chinese characteristics, and calligraphy and painting exhibition by Christians.

The association plans to assist the city's CCC&TSPM in hosting the charity event "New Road to a blessed Faith in China" in May 2017.

Pastor Cai Bosheng, Chairman of the CCC&TSPM of Shenzhen, also said that many Christians of industry and commerce donated large energy and money in the field support and ministries since the association was founded. However, there is still a gap and they hoped for support from the government.

Wang Zhigang, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, recognized the work of the association, and hoped that it will perform better as the platform connecting three-self churches and house churches.

The Christian Business Association was founded in Oct 2013 and aims to serve the society. It is the first Business Christian group registered in the Bureau of Religious and Civil Affairs and civil administration, and it's the precedent for Christian Business fellowships.
