When it comes to sharing God's love, it is very difficult for many to do because we tend to focus on things that presents a lot of benefits towards us and preserve it to the extent we do not share it with others. As a result, we tend to find it difficult to give up things for others.

Despite this difficulty, Jesus tells us that we should fight against self-exaltation by denying ourselves to follow Him and love others instead as we love ourselves.

However, what do you do to achieve this selfless act even if you find it it difficult to share love?

Loving After Receiving God's Love

God knows that it is impossible for us to give what we don't have. In Matthew 10:8, Jesus said

"Freely you have received, freely give."

God knows that before we can give out something, we need to have it first. However, many tend to find it hard to realize that if we want to love others with God's love, we need to receive His love first. To receive His love first, we must always remember the words: "God loves you."

God Loves You

God loves us and in the Bible, many passages express this love. In John 3:16-17, it said:

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

In Psalm 139:16, it said:

Your [God's] eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Take courage and feel his love

If you feel like you can't love others for any particular reason, always remember that God loves you. His love will help you get through any hardship and sustain whatever would happen if you love others. His love would also help you sustain the love He wants you to give to others.

It's the love that Christ has given to us on the cross and after His resurrection.

In John 13:34-35, it said:

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
