Two Singaporeans have made it to the next battle and found their voice mentors on the popular televised singing contest, "Sing! China."

On the latest episode aired on Friday, August 4, Stella Seah chose Chinese singer Na Ying as her mentor while Olinda Cho picked the famous Taiwanese superstar, Jay Chou.

The 24-year-old Singaporean Seah reportedly shared that she had no expectations of passing on the next round. She added that she only did get nervous when both Na Ying and Hong Kong celebrity, Eason Chan wanted her on their teams.

"Eason said his team is full of singers like me, who can sing funky and groovy songs, whereas Na Ying said she had yet to have a singer like me. I picked Na Ying because I wanted to join a team with a variety of singing styles and learn from them. I also want to learn from Na Ying as she is the queen of ballads," she said as reportedly by Straits Times.

Meanwhile, Cho said that she joined the contest last year but she failed to be chosen.

"When I got the call, I was very scared. It brought back those scary memories. I felt it was a horror movie. Oh god, it's all coming back to me now," Cho said."Then I thought to myself, 'I have to finish watching this movie no matter what happens, I'm not going to be scared anymore.'"

She had to choose between mentors Jay Chou, Na Ying and Liu Huan. At the end, she prefers to stay on the Taiwanese superstar's team.

The two Singaporeans are added to few Singaporeans like Curley Gao and Joanna Dong who were selected and who passed the blind auditions of the singing program.

"Sing! China" is a franchise of the global singing show titled "The Voice." The voice coaches and judges like Chinese singer Na Ying and Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou initially hear only the voice of the contestants when they sing and when they like their singing, they turn and pick them to join on their team.
