Zhenjiang Reed's Home, a civil charity organization, showed care for rural left-behind elders, shidu parents, and empty nesters, cooperating with a local village committee on August 21-22, 2017.

The organization brought five wheelchairs and a walker to Caohuang Village, Chenbao Town, Xinghua, Jiangsu. The elderly people received knowledge on health and healing for their souls in functional groups.

The Home offers care during festivals, birthday care for the elderly, civilian service, and the organization of migrant young people to visit their parents at proper times.

Reed's Home, founded in August 2014, aims at serving the disabled and elderly with the purpose "helping the unfortunate people with everything possible". As an early NGO  and influential NGO in Zhenjiang, Reed's Home has carried out social service in the fields of helping the disabled and the elderly, narcotics control, community development and environmental protection. It has served about 4200 elderly people who live alone and the disabled and provided volunteer service to 9000 people.
