On December 15, 2017, Amity Foundation held a launch ceremony for a branch of its bakery in Kunshan, along with a local hospital and a school for the deaf.

Founded in November 2007, Amity Bakery is dedicated to vocational rehabilitation for mentally disabled teenagers, owning two Nanjing-based stores, two online shops, and a vocational training center.  It is the first domestic bakery run by mentally challenged people as a subordinate program of Amity Home of Blessings (AHB) founded in 2002 to provide services to mentally challenged people ranging from 16 to 40 years of age and their families.

The new branch will provide vocational training and work opportunities for mentally disabled locals in cooperation with Jen Ching Memorial Hospital and Kunshan School for the Deaf. It will also promote public acceptance and recognition of the special group.
