Korean Consul Visits Shanghai CC&TSPM

On March 13, 2019, the South Korean Consul, Baek Jae Yeon was in Shanghai and, along with her assistant, visited the Shanghai Christian Council & Municipal Three-Self Association. 

According to the WeChat account of "Shanghai Chrisitanity", Consul Bai expressed her gratitude for the reception of Lee Taeho, the second Korean vice-minister of foreign affairs, by the municipal organizations. 

She added that this year many delegations from South Korea were expected since it marks the 100th anniversary of the Shanghai-based Korean Provisional Government (KPG). 

They visited Shanghai's Moore Memorial Church, where according to historical records, important officials of KPG had given speeches. 

Rev. Xu Yulan, chairman of the Shanghai patriotic organization, introduced the foreign language worship services that are held in Shanghai, including two Korean services conducted in Pudong and Puxi.
