On August 2, the Australian Christian evangelist and motivational speaker Nick Vujicic shared his story in a large public lecture held in Shanghai with about ten thousand people in the audience, including disabled people. This lecture marks his eighth visit to China.

The life fighter was born in Melbourne, Australia with Phocomelia, a disorder characterized by the absence of arms and legs upon birth. In his youth, he suffered from bullying for his disability and once tried to drown himself in his home's tub. He was even rejected 52 times before his speaking engagement.

However, he has given lectures in 61 countries and became a famous international speaker, inspiring others with his life story and inspirational message. He is a devout Christian whose faith supports him to continue forward and make progress.

Nick told the audiences that dreams could come true and to never fear failure based from his experience and life with the lecture lasting one hour. He added that we could learn from failure, saying that you should be on your best regardless of your appearance.

He shared how he began his lecture career after having laying on bed for three weeks due to an injury in his shank after playing soccer. He finally embraced success on his 53th time after applying to various events to speak.

His purpose to speak in Shanghai was to "inspire more Chinese to help more Chinese people" as noted in his speec when he talked about how he received help on campus.

He also mentioned the continuous encouragement and support given his father, emphasizing on the importance of families. Meanwhile, he urged the Chinese to respect workers in every field, holding that nobody matters than anyone else.

No miracle may happen on you, but you can be the miracle in others' eyes.

At the end of the speech, he said that faith gives him the biggest power, recommending the audiences to read his two books 'Life Without Limits' and 'Love Without Limits'. During the speech, Nick communicated with the Chinese fans in Chinese in some parts.

It is said that Himalaya FM, the largest audio sharing platform in China, broadcasted the speech on air, which was the first time a speaker's speech was done live in audio form. Nick hoped to make more audiences hear his sharing through the live broadcasting of his Shanghai speech.
