More or less, everyone experiences "dark valleys" or dark phases in life alone. If you're feeling frustrated and lonely for these difficult times and could not overcome the struggles or weakness, you should read the following verses.

God's word reminds us that He is always beside us and with us.

  1. Psalm 18:16:  He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters
  2. Psalm 23:4: Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
  3. Deuteronomy 31:6: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
  4. Psalm 27:10: Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.
  5. 2 Timothy 4:17: But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth.
  6. Isaiah 41:10: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
  7. 1 Kings 8:57-58: May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. May he turn our hearts to him, to walk in obedience to him and to keep the commands, decrees and regulations he gave our ancestors.
  8. Isaiah 40:28-30: Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall.
  9. John 8:29 The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.
  10. Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
