Zhouzhuang Sheng'en Church hosted a free volunteer clinic on May 5, 2017. Seniors, who could not normally receive timely physicals or treatment at local hospitals, were given free check-ups and recommended treatment at the event.

The event was co-sponsored by the Shang'ai Public Welfare Service Center of Dianshanhu and the Kunshan Everycome Hospital in eastern China's Jiangsu Province.  Director Zhou from Everycome Hospital led a team of 12 experts, doctors, and paramedics from the departments of Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Diagnostic Imaging for the event.  They brought stethoscopes, blood-pressure cuffs, small therapy equipment, and more to help treat over 60 residents and believers, mostly seniors.  They also gave consultations and gave more than 30 prescriptions.  The enthusiasm in diagnosis, free medicine, consultation, and health education materials they exhibited received a lot of positive feedback from the locals in Zhouzhuang.

Both believers and non-believers could join the free clinic at the church.
