National Christian Council in Japan Visits China

An eight-person delegation of the National Christian Council in Japan (NCCJ) visited the East China Theological College (ECTC) on May 10, 2017.

Rev. Xie Bingguo, the president of ECTC, claimed that the Chinese church and the Japanese church have enjoyed friendly exchanges during the past years. Rev. Wang Jianhua, the provost, introduced the college's educational system to the guests.

Rev. Koichi Kobashi, the moderator of NCCJ, shared the introduction of the council, the Japanese church and nature of the theological education in the country. Both sides also held a deep discussion regarding the college's theological curriculum, the status quo of female application into the college, book management and sacred music education.
