Bethesda Volunteer Service Center of Cangnan, Wenzhou went to Shuoli Church in north Anhui Province on May 17, 2017 and offered treatment for hundreds of believers.

Shuoli Church is a poor three-self church located in a remote area with mostly senior believers. Most of the brothers and sisters there have some physical issues, especially in the knees and lower back. Moreover, with their dietary habits of eating lots of spicy and salty food, cardiovascular problems are very common. They also have poor teeth.

The medical departments participating included dentistry, internal medicine, and acupuncture. There are many classic cases in the acupuncture department. Doctor Liang treated a patient with trigeminal neuralgia on the foot, one of the most painful and difficult diseases to treat. This sister, who was in her fifties, went to many hospitals but was still in great pain. She never had peace or rest. However, she immediately felt better after the doctor gave her acupuncture treatment. Liang was also very excited, saying such result comes from God. It is God that brings the Gospel and blessings through his hands.

One time when Sister Li Xia was giving acupuncture treatment to the sisters in the church, they sang hymns to ease the pain. It was wonderful and the pain was gone. After a while everyone started doing the same and they were singing in tears during the treatment.
