On Jun 10-11, The Shanghai Agape Foundation hosted a special charity drive to help children with cleft palates and lips. Many believers from local churches actively responded.

This drive was held in eight churches in Shanghai, including All Saints Church, Huizhong Church, Shanghai west chapel, according to a WeChat article of the Shanghai Civil and Religious Affairs Bureau. The churches also promoted and mobilized believers in their preparation. Believers donated calligraphies, paintings, china, tea sets, clothes, electronics, maternal and child supplies, and more. Especially at Pu'an Church where a believer donated 900 pieces of artistic accessories together. Churches also had volunteers to make sure the drive was orderly.

The Shanghai Agape Foundation was founded in February 2015 with Elder Chen Zhimin, deputy chairman of the city's Christian Affair Council, as the director. Its profound Christian background can be seen from the name Agape.
