The Bible.
The Bible.

It's inevitable that Christians encounter hardships. God never gave a promise to His people that they will never go through difficulties.

Then what are sufferings? Some people say that sufferings are stumbling rocks. Some regard them as stones that refine "gold". In fact, our experiences lead to different concepts of suffering.

What makes Christians different from non-Christians is that they don't panic or become discouraged even in the face of suffering out of depending on God, instead, treat difficulties with a new perspective. Jesus said, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

Read the following ten bible passages to overcome all the sufferings and storms by God's grace.

Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Isaiah 55:9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
