What are the eyes fixed on? When one puts trust in success, fame, and fortune, it leads to worry and anxiety. A real peace comes when one truly focuses on God.

Here are ten Bible passages to help stay fixed on God.

Psalm 141:8 But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign Lord; in you I take refuge-do not give me over to death.

Psalm 86:4 Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you.

Psalm 52:9 For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.

Psalm 119:43 Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.

Romans 4:20-21 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Psalm 119:116 Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Psalm 34:5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.

Psalm 42:5 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?

Put your hope in God,  for I will yet praise him,  my Savior and my God.

Micah 7:7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
