On July 29, 2019, Dalian Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) of Liaoning held a financial management training session for more than 500 financial staff of the church.

On that morning, Dr. Jia Xingfei, a professor of accountancy, gave a course on accounting criteria and accounting calculation of nonprofit organizations (NPOs) in Dalian Fengshou Lu Church. The topics included an overview of NPOs, the accounting system of NPOs, and the accounting calculation of non-profit and non-governmental organizations.

A top official of Liaoning Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affair Commission illustrated cases of financial management leaks and corruption to demonstrate the necessity and importance of financial management. Later, he addressed a lecture titled "Financial Management of Religious Premises", explaining the laws and regulations that the church should obey and its main role in financial management.

Many participants responded with positive feedback. An elder from a district church stated that he expected more similar training in the future and also expected that those programs could reach the local level. A deaconess said she could follow the training and found it helpful. Several church financial administrators and cashiers agreed that the training was inspiring to their accounting practices and wished for more thematic training courses.
