Yong’en Church in Shanghai Ready for Use in 2018

On the morning of Jan 6, the project of Yong'en Christian Church of Qiantan, Shanghai kicked off. It is estimated that it will be ready for use in 2018 and become a new community culture venue in Qiantan International Business Zone.

According to the news recently published by China Metallurgical Group Corporation, the Yong'en Church project is a public Christian community co-produced by Shanghai New Bund International Business District Investment (Group) Ltd and Shanghai Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee.

The church includes a main chapel, with a capacity of 600 people at one time. The church is connected with two buildings in the north and south. The southern building is a four-story office building while the northern building is a two-story church. There are also greenery, roads, landscapes, and other supporting outdoor constructions. The total area is 2,027 square meters with 2,837 square meters of building area. The general construction time is 425 calendar days.
