American Delegation Visits Jiangsu

An eleven-person delegation from the Word4Asia Consulting International visited the Hudson Taylor Memorial Church in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu on November 12, 2017.

Rev. Chip was invited to preach a sermon titled "The Path to Life You Desire" in the Sunday service.

Rev. Gene Wood, founder and president of Word4Asia, is committed to the ministry of promoting friendship and understanding between the churches in China and the United States. He cooperated with the church in Jiangsu in church nurturing, social serivce, and publishing.

In 2008, the local government of Dantu District, Zhenjiang, granted about 20 mu (3.29 acres) of land to construct the Hudson Taylor Memorial Church. The construction kicked off in Mar. 2011 and finished in Nov. 2014. With 14,820 square meters (3.66 acres) of floor space, the new church consists of a main hall that seats over 2,000, a comprehensive building, a nursing home, and a bell tower.
