Jiangxi Church Aids Miao Students for 8 Years

A bunch of Miao Christians live in fairly poor conditions in a rural village in Lianhua County, Ji'an, Jiangxi. They are forgotten by the world, but not by God.
In the early 1990s, the Miao believers in Guizhou moved to Jiangxi to make a living because they didn't have enough food. With no fixed residence, they lived at the bottom of society without a Hukou registration.
Since 2010, Ji'an Gospel Church has united Christians from other places to give educational support to the Miao students in Shantian Village, Shenquan Town, including college students.
On February 7, 2018, a four-person team of the church visited the local Miao believers, bringing new sweaters paid for with a special fund offered by the Amity Foundation (Hong Kong) to left-behind children.
The local congregation used to gather in an elder's house and now attends services in a rented house that costs 800 yuan each month. Eight households live in a low-rent former nursing home that consists of two two-story buildings built in the 1950s or 1960s and the late 1980s.
