Rev. Shen Yiping, Founding Elder of China Gospel Fellowship, Dies at 71

On July 14, 2018, Rev. Shen Yiping, the second leader and one of the founding elders of China Gospel Fellowship，died of cerebral infarction at the age of 71, according to the WeChat account of "Spiritual bread on the pilgrimage".
Rev. Shen was born in Tanghe County where the fellowship started in Henan, in 1947. The house church movement has some million believers.
His memorial services were held on Monday.
The China Gospel Fellowship (中华福音团契), also known as the Tanghe Fellowship (唐河团契), is one of the largest evangelical Christian religious movements in China, and is a house church network formed in the province of Henan.
