From March 27 to 30, 2019, the "Japan Gathering 2019" was held in Kyoto, attended by over 3000 people from more than 30 countries.

During the prayer time, participants that included 1,500 Japanese and many overseas Chinese interceded by repenting for Japan's past, praying for God's healing and mercy, and for the future.

The gathering's theme verse was, "And they shall fear His glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come like a rushing stream, which the wind of the Lord drives." (Isaiah 59:19)

The official website stated, "This is a strategic time for Japan, as the Lord spoke that He will move mightily and swiftly and Japan will see a major breakthrough before the end of 2019."

On the first day, Japanese church pastors and missionaries were invited on stage to share, recalling many missionaries who were martyred in Kyoto. They believed that the country would worship God together with this cloud of witnesses.

Rev. David Demian, one of the gathering's founders, declared that God would use Japan as a key to His witness in the end times. Now that the time was here, they proclaimed confidently that Jesus Christ would come to Japan and God would do great things in the country.

Rev. Ito from the White House Fellowship Church in Okinawa, who presided over the evening, said that God would reveal greater glory than before in Japan. Miracles that have never been seen or heard before would occur. She had faith that God would perform greater breakthroughs in her country.

Rev. Demian led the participants in announcing, "There is only one God in Japan and his name is Jesus Christ!"

On the evening of March 30, Christians of different colors and from different geographical backgrounds took a part in Holy Communion. Meanwhile, artists from different countries together painted the future for Japan. Prayer for the country concluded the time.
