On September 16, 2017, a four-person delegation from New Zealand Long Bay Baptist Church visited Yichun Jesus Church in Jiangxi Province. The two sides exchanged presents.

Rev. Gordon Duncun, one of the visitors, lived in the church from 1948 to 1950 with his father, a pastor who served in the church during that period. "When I was here, my first language was Chinese. I wanted to remember Chinese again and hear more of the church's stories."Gordon said in the church's 111th anniversary on May 2, 2017.

Jesus Church, located in Yichun, has a history of 113 years. In 1904, British Pastor Luo Jishi, sent by China Inland Mission, came to Yichun and built the big chapel and small chapel, foreign pastoral building and China's pastoral staff residential building and Yichun Jesus Church with a total construction area of 3,000 meters. It is estimated that Yuanzhou District of Yichun has more than 120 fellowships and over 10,000 believers. The congregation's number on Sundays is over 700.
