As a Christian, we know that Satan is always finding ways to destroy us.

This is why the Bible always reminds us to be alert and stay firm in our faith.

1 Peter 5:8 tells us that, "Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."

While this is scary, 1 Peter 5:9 said that ""Resist him, standing firm in your faith..." In order to stand firm in your faith, you need the Word of God.

Meditate on these following Bible verses whenever you are faced with spiritual attacks:

Psalm 34:17 -

"The righteous cry and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles."

Psalm 44:5 -

"Through You, we will push back our adversaries, through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us."

James 4:7 -

"Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Luke 10:19 -

"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you."

1 John 4:4 -

"You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world."

Deuteronomy 3:22 -

"Do not fear them, for the Lord your God is the one fighting for you."

2 Chronicles 20:15 -

"This is what the Lord says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's."

Romans 8:37 -

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."

Ephesians 6:11-17

"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Deuteronomy 28:7 -

"The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways."
