Sunday marked China's 28th annual National Disabled Persons' Day. In Shanxi, the occasion was marked by a charity activity in the street of Linfen, organized by the fellowship for the disabled of the church in Linfen.

On May 19, 2018, some masseurs and masseuses with disability voluntarily provided massage service for passersby and other medical volunteers measured blood pressure for them. Leaflets on disability prevention, safeguarding the rights of disabled people, fire safety, and disease prevention were distributed.

Pedestrians were moved by the fellowship who should be taken care of instead of serving others.

Meanwhile, a charity organization was set up to carry out regular charitable events and to preach the gospel.

Founded in May 2011, the fellowship for disabled works to care for disabled Christians and help them grow in faith. Currently, it has over 70 members consisting of believers and seekers with limb, vision, and mental disabilities as well as a team of more than ten volunteers.

Apart from attending a weekly Bible study, they regularly visit nursing homes, special education schools, and poor families with disabled members. They also join in financial education assistance programs initiated by AIDS schools and give performances in Christmas celebrations.
