Satan's most powerful and popular weapon against us is instilling fear. The most common lie he uses for us to feel frightened is that God is nowhere beside us or that God is away from us.

Have you felt that way before? We have felt at some point of our lives that God is distant or even too silent. But, nothing could be farther from the truth. God promises in His words that He is always with us. Also, He has proven time and time both in the Bible and even in our lives nowadays that He is there for us always.

For us, the presence of problems and difficult situation is usually the greatest persuasion of God's absence but remember that even during various times in the Bible, God was there during the midst of war, flood, storms and famine. God is always here with us and promises to never leave us all alone.

The best way to remind ourselves is to always read the Bible as it contains God's promises. Here are six Bible scriptures to assure us that God is with us always.

Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."

Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing."

Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Romans 8:38-39 "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Hebrews 13:5 "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"

Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
