On August 2, 2018, a pastoral staff team from the Baotou TSPM paid a visit to the victims in three local churches, Inner Mongolia.

In late July, a flood caused by rare torrential rain destroyed the villages, roads, and bridges of Guyang County, leaving six people dead and one missing.

One of the victims shared that he was comforted, saying that the pastors were like mothers who cares for their children, the church.

Headed by Rev. Wang Xiaozhen, director of the Baotou TSPM, the team drove to badly damaged churches in the city's Jiuyuan District.

Seeing crops soaked in the water, Rev. Wang said that the city CCC&TSPM would continue to focus on the disaster situation and help the affected churches overcome difficulties.
