On March 31, 2019, the evening service at the Yanjing Theological Seminary was held in Taize style, according to the seminary.

During the Taize service, led by members of the Kohath Choir of the seminary, Christians immersed themselves in worship, contemplating Jesus Christ's redemption and drawing closer to the Creator in silence using candle light.

The Taize prayer began with the song "We Worship You, Lord Jesus." Everyone was motivated and immersed in the love of the Lord. During the responsive part, the leader and the participants read quotes from the Bible as well as other holy words, and the congregation responded with the liturgy Jesus Christ.

The leader and the congregation read from Psalm 32 and others responded with "Ubi Caritas."

Along with responsive reading and the holly poet Lord, Have Mercy, everyone confessed their sins and asked for forgiveness. After their sins were announced forgiven, the congregation said together, "Glory to His name!" Then the leader prayed with everyone for the Holly Spirit to remain with them, and Christians responded with "Bless My Lord."

The Taize style prayer service concluded after the congregation sang, I Trust You and a pastor gave a blessing.
