Heilongjiang Theological Seminary Opens New Semester

On August 19, 2019, Heilongjiang Theological Seminary held the opening service & ceremony of its 2019 autumn semester. 

According to the WeChat account of the Mount Olivet Theological Base of Heilongjiang, standing in front of the national flag, all the faculty and students attended the flag raising ceremony. 

Then the opening service was conducted in the Ark Chapel. A pastor preached a message of learning the wisdom of "four small things" from Proverbs 30:24-28. 

In the opening ceremony that followed, Rev. Li Meilan, executive vice president of the seminary, encouraged the students to do their part to be equipped. The curriculum of the new semester, the class schedule during the Bible Reading Week, and the rules for repeating failed courses were announced. 

Founded in 1996, the seminary now has a campus at Mount of Olives. Also, it is the only seminary in China that accepts and trains deaf students to become pastors for deaf communities.
