Jilin Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) planned to give more than one million yuan to local medical workers who joined the coronavirus fight in Hubei Province.

The last provincial team of medical workers returned from the battlefield on April 8, 2020, according to Jilin CC&TSPM.

Each of the 1,209 workers will receive 1,000 yuan from the comfort fund. A total of 1.209 million yuan has been transferred to the local Red Cross Society, who will send the money to them.

Jilin CC&TSPM also wrote a letter to the medical heroes to show their respect. It read, "All the Christians in the province prayed earnestly that you would be able to save more lives and return home safely. You carried out your urgent medical mission in Hubei, giving life to others and bringing benefit to society."

By April 10, the church in Jilin had received more than 7.92 million yuan to help fight against the pandemic.
