On the morning of November 2, Yanjing Theological Seminary held the opening service and ceremony of the 2020-2021 school year in the side chapel, attended by all the teachers and students.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the students failed to come back to school for the spring semester, according to CC&TSPM. God listened to the prayers of the students who were eager to return to school for their studies. In the opening service, Rev. Zhen Cuihua led all teachers and students in praising and praying to God to thank Him for His mercy and grace.

It was a day of celebration as 20 new students who were chosen by God dedicated themselves to Him. Their lives will be in the hands of Him who will lead them.

Rev. Wu Weiqing, the deputy president of the seminary, presided over the ceremony and welcomed the new students on behalf of all teachers and students. Rev. Mao Yajun, director of the Board of Directors of the Seminary, chairman and president of Tianjin CC&TPSM, gave a speech to encourage the students.

Finally, the service of celebration ended as the 20 new students sang together.
