A Guangxi church resumed in-person service last Sunday following the reopening of some Fujian and Guangdong churches.

Having arrived at the Hepu Church in Beihai early in the morning, the attendants waited at the entrance for the believers after all preparations were made following the division of labor among themselves.

Elder Chen Kaosi, chairman of Beihai Municipal Three-self Patriotic Movement, welcomed the arrival of the churchgoers who also greeted each other at the gate of the church. After entering the sanctuary, they bowed their heads to pray in their seats.

After Pastor Shen Yuan led the congregation in singing the hymns, the long-awaited Sunday service began at 9:30 a.m. Elder Chen shared a sermon titled "A Wife of Noble Character", to commemorate the annual Women’s Day on March 8.

After the first resumed service since the outbreak of COVID-19, the church presented prepared gifts to its female believers.
