Tongzhou Church in Beijing held this year's first administrative board meeting in late April, discussing the difficulties and changes in church ministries after reopening.

Lu Dong, senior pastor of the church, summarized the progress of the church's ministries during the coronavirus pandemic in the past period of time, proposing several main issues to be tackled after the resumption of gatherings.

He stressed the preparations for the resumption of the services in the branch churches or core meeting points in each administrative area of Tongzhou District. Moreover, the church should use the Internet to better carry out various service and look for believers who have left the church due to the pandemic, leading them back.

He also proposed to solve the difficulties in pastoral care and church management (especially seeking real estate resources for branch churches and core meeting points), so as to "ensure longevity and stability in worshipping and gatherings."
