The second meeting of the Guizhou Christian Theological Construction reading class was held in Guiyang Church on June 4, 2021.

The meeting was presided over by Rev. Yan Linbin, deputy president and general secretary of Guizhou CC (Christian Council), according to CCC&TSPM. In addition to summarizing the work of the class in the first half of 2021, he shared reading and thinking experiences, as well as made arrangements for the next step of work.

At the meeting, attendees made clear the functional positioning of the class and clarified their train of thought and direction. Sharing their opinions and suggestions on the work plan for this year, they also determined the reading material and research direction for the year.

Rev. Luo Yingfu, director of the Guizhou TSPM (Three-Self Patriotic Movement), pointed out in his concluding speech that the construction of the talent team was key to the advancement of the Sinicization of Christianity. Giving full play to its leading role, the study class could carry out targeted reading and research, which focused on the two dimensions of Guizhou churches and society. Pastors in the province were encouraged to learn and absorb various kinds of knowledge and integrate them into sermons, in order to improve the social functions of churches.
