Beihai Church in Guangxi held three thanksgiving services on Sunday, July 4, including offertory and communions.

The Beihai CC&TSPM decided to purchase a building of 850 square meters (0.21 acres) as a new church, as the Beihai Church and the Taihe Church in Beihai City could not meet the attendance requirements for the growing number of believers, even if they held three services on Sundays.

Beihai Church, where the Beihai CC&TSPM (Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement) is located, is a centennial church.

In the three services, Senior Pastor Zhang Yezhong, president of Beihai CC, gave a sermon titled "Five Loaves and Two Fish", while Rev. Huang Zhengxin shared "Build together", and Pastor Wu Peng gave "Double Blessing". A female Christian named Liu Jingxiu delivered her testimony of contribution.

Believers from various ministries and fellowships of the church, dressed in festive costumes, performed dance in unison and sang choruses such as "Sing Hallelujah, Praise the Lord" and "Glory to God", to express their gratitude to the Trinity God.

During the service, led by pastors, leaders of teams, and fellowships of the church, the congregation did their best to contribute towards the purchase of a new church, while committing their efforts to the Lord in prayers.

At the same time, through the Internet, the pastoral staff and believers in the church and from other places also made contributions. A female Christian in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, who did not want to be named and had never been to the church before, also made an offering. She said, "This is my first WeChat payment. Thank the Lord! I should do my part, as it is the home of God, no matter where the temple is built. Wish God remembers pastors of Beihai Church who work hard."
