After the flag-raising ceremony, students and faculty staff of the Heilongjiang Theological Seminary attended the opening service & ceremony of its 2021 autumn semester in Ark Chapel.

During the ceremony on September 6, Rev. Li Meilan, executive deputy president of the seminary, said that they would continue to nurture critical talents who were politically reliable and pleasing to God and to people with religious attainments and morality, according to CCC&TSPM.

Later, they joined a peace prayer activity that commemorated the 76th anniversary of the Victory over Japan Day and the World Anti-Fascist War.

Founded in 1996, the seminary now has a campus at the Mount of Olives. It is also the only seminary in China that accepts and trains deaf students to become pastors for deaf communities.
