Shaanxi, Jiangsu Churches Show Sympathy before Mid-Autumn Festival

Two churches in Jiangsu and Shaanxi respectively presented gifts to local needy people before the coming Mid-Autumn Festival which falls on September 21. 

 

Under the leadership of Rev. Yang Xiaoli, chairman of the Yulin Municipal TSPM in Shaanxi, the staff of Zhipu Lane Church in Yuyang District on September 18 paid a visit to Xinlou Community in Xinminglou Street. They gave out moon cakes worth about 6,000 yuan to 100 people, including poor households, veterans, and party members in difficulties, according to Shaanxi CC&TSPM.

 

On September 15, staff workers from the Anzhen church in Wuxi, Jiangsu, showed sympathy to the Jinghui Service Center for the elderly in Anzhen Street, bringing them holiday gifts and greetings. At the end of the visit, President Wang Yinjuan of the service center invited volunteers of the church to cut hair for the elderly two days later. The Church distributes presents to the nursing home every Mid-Autumn Festival and other festivals, according to the Church.
