Jilin Church Presents Food to Lonely Elderly at Christmas

A Jilin church sent food supplies to widowed older adults and special families, as Christmas celebrations were canceled due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

Sandao Church in Songjiang Town, Antu County, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin, used the Christmas funds to buy food supplies worth 4,500 yuan as Christmas presents, according to Antu County CC&TSPM.  

On Christmas Eve, the church staff visited 70 widows and widowers in the nursing home, bringing apples, socks, and milk powder to them. The next day, they sent flour to 50 special families in the villages of Sandao Township.
