A church in Guangxi and anther one in Shandong helped with the fight against COVID-19 by providing food and anti-virus materials.

Besides focusing on online pastoral care, staff from Beihai Church in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region last Thursday sent 5,000 yuan worth of milk, bread, and eight-treasure porridge to Haicheng District Health Commission in Beihai. Striving to buy a new church, they also raised money to assist in the COVID-19 prevention and control effort.

After new confirmed cases emerged on March 4 in Laixi City, Qingdao, Shandong, in addition to donating to Laixi Church, believers and pastoral staff in Licang District visited front-line workers, bringing protective clothing, disinfectant, instant noodles, biscuits, and milk. The donations in cash and kind were worth a total of 13,014 yuan, as reported by Qingdao CC&TSPM.

In addition to that, Lichang District CC&TSPM organized 28 pastors and believers to participate in the epidemic prevention volunteer efforts in three communities.
