Shanghai Agape Foundation Conducts Training for '99 Giving Day' Activities

Training course preparing for the "99 Giving Day" in 2022 which falls on September 7-9 was held in the station of the Shanghai CC&TSPM.

The annual national charity day "99 Giving Day" was initiated by Tencent Charity in 2015, united with hundreds of charity organizations, well-known enterprises, celebrities, and top creative communication agencies.

Hosted by the Shanghai Agape Foundation last Tuesday, the training course was held online and in-person simultaneously, said the foundation.

Summarizing the activities of the foundation during the "99 Charity Day" of 2021, Xiong Wei, chairman of the foundation, introduced the three projects that the foundation will participate in during these days in 2022.

Invited by the foundation, two members of the Amity Foundation introduced the rules and online operation procedures of the activities of the "99 Charity Day" in 2022, with questions and interaction of the participants.

In her final speech, Rev. Xu Yulan, chairman of Shanghai TSPM, said that as an important platform for Shanghai Christians to carry out public welfare and charity, the foundation should standardize its operation and strengthen its construction to better care for and serve society.

The Shanghai Agape Foundation was founded in February 2015 with Elder Chen Zhimin, deputy chairman of the Shanghai Christian Council, as the director.
