On June 8, BIG BANG's leader - G-Dragon - released his self-titled solo album 'Kwon Ji Yong' with the title track ''Untitled, 2014''. Just an hour after the release, G-Dragon topped various Korean music charts with his new title track.

His amazing record didn't stop here.

21 hours after posting the music video for his hit song "Untitled, 2014" the VIP's (name of BIG BANG's fans) and new fans worldwide wasted no time in checking GD's latest creation and ended up making the music video reach a whopping 5,221,327 (five point-two million views) views and a total of 493,426 likes and counting in Youtube.

Upon their comments regarding the video and the album, VIP fans from Asia and all over the world have nothing but praises for the artist. With the upcoming hiatus of Big Bang for their respective military enlistment in the coming years, the fans have been anticipating a comeback album months before G-Dragon's scheduled military enlistment.

On the other hand, the success of G-Dragon's album has immediately reached iTunes's top charts, where G-Dragon topped album charts in 39 different countries including the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Colombia, Estonia, Finland, and more.  It is highly possible for him to get an Artist, Song & Album of the year award this year because the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), which is held in Hongkong, will be happening later this 2017.

If G-Dragon's album continues to skyrocket like how it is doing right now, there is a high chance that he will be a candidate in winning the album of the year award.

The album is also present in the top 10 list of other countries. This makes him the only Korean artist with the most #1 on the iTunes Album Charts, beating the previous records set by Psy and BTS (Bangtan Boys).
