Final Episode of 'Speed' Ends

The final episode of the Chinese drama "Speed" was broadcasted on Dragon TV and on streaming sites Tencent Video and iQiyi on November 15.

The series, which had 36 episodes, features the story of a young US-born Chinese man - played by racer-actor Han Dongjun - as he travels to Australia ot become a top racer.

The series was jointly produced by Shanghai production Wit & Key and Xiamen production Migu Animation. Aside from Han, the series also features stars like Xu Lu, Du Haihao, Dong Chunhui and Ding Ye.

According to Wit & Key general manager Han Hao, China rarely makes productions that is about racing and it costs a lot of money since they had to purchase a lot of expensive cars. The series had a budget of over 100 million yuan and they used more than 50 racing sports cars for the action sequences.

Assisting the production is Bruce Law, one of China's top stunt choreographers who also worked with Jackie Chan for his top blockbusters. He is also the action consultant of the drama and assisted on the action scenes for the series.
