"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Almost every Christian memorize this verse by heart, knowing it to be the foundation of our Salvation, which assures us that when we believe, we are saved.

But does this verse only help bring us unto Salvation?

Do we only harvest eternal life when we are raised with Christ Jesus in his second coming?

"My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.", says our Lord Jesus in John 10:10.

Most of us would wait a lifetime- literally, to enjoy the blessings of eternal life.

But as mentioned in the verse above, Jesus came for us to have a rich and satisfying life here on earth. Meaning, we can reap the benefits of this glorious eternal life right now!

Here are some gifts Christ Jesus wants us to enjoy:

1.     Prosperity

"You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich." (2 Corinthians 8:9)

2.     Health

"By his wounds, you are healed." (1 Peter 2:24)

3.     Righteousness

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (2 Corinthians 5:21)

4.     Peace

"I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid." (John 14:27)

5.     Joy

"When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!" (John 15:10-11)
