That Cold Feeling

As the days becomes shorter and the nights becomes longer, we now enter into the months where Christmas is fast approaching.

To some people, it is the most wonderful time of the year since it is the time when they would be with their friends, families and their special person. However, to others, especially those who lives alone, Christmas is just another cold day and no gift can even make them feel warmer.

However, the Bible says something different about that.

According to Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

What is the most special gift that you have received?

Some people may say that receiving a new phone is one of the best gifts they have ever had and so on. The list goes for miles and we don't even know if we deserve that kind of gift.

A person who lives alone will definitely say something different.  I am not saying that single people have it bad, to be honest they have it best!

They have more time to make overseas trips, more time to do anything they wish to do and more time to spend with family and friends. However, the fact that it is indeed getting a little colder and it does cause them a bit of sadness in their hearts.

But as Christians, whether we are single or not, feminist or liberalist, we must always rely on God.

Of course, we do things differently now, but we must remember that no matter how lonely we get, we have Jesus who died on the cross and paid for our sins.

Jesus died for you and me, single or not, boy or girl.  He loved us warts and all and we have something to look forward to in the coming days.

As the weather becomes colder, and the leaves turn into orange and you feel lonely, keep in mind that someone has got your back.

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
