On January 18, 2019, the Xishan Gospel Church in Dalian city, Liaoning Province, finally welcomed the church's inaugural worship service after five years of painstaking effort.
Led by Pastor Zhao Yonggang, chairman of the local China Christian Council, all pastors dressed in clerical robes stepped onto the church podium. Chairman Zhao presided over the dedication service and preached the message. Besides bringing ardent wishes for the congregation, he also spoke about the gospels in Scripture. Pastor Bai Jianzhen, the president of the Dalian Christian Association, gave a sincere prayer for the church as well.
The vice president of the Dalian Christian Love Committee, Senior Pastor of the Xishan Gospel Hall, Mr. Wu Bing presided over the dedication ceremony. On behalf of the church, he gave a donation of 30,000 yuan to the local street community to help the poor.
The ceremony ended with a blessing from 20 pastors standing on the stage. In the afternoon there was a church prayer meeting followed by a revival meeting the next day.
