A chef who has cooked for "Mission: Impossible" star Tom cruise and other hollywood star is now exposing his creative and delicious dishes at a new restaurant in Chinatown in Birmingham, England.

The chef who won best British Culinary Chef Award during the British Curry Awards, Chef Mofur Miah is the new head chef of the new James Dahl Indian restaurant in Chinatown Hurst Street.

Mofur was known to have cooked for Spice Girls stars Janet Jackson as well as Cruise during his filming in the movie "Edge of Tomorrow" in 2014.

Husban Ahmed, the owner of the restaurant has opened the said resto last month was glad that he has the best chef on his team.

"Luckily for me Mofur is a good family friend. As soon as I knew the restaurant was available to buy I went to see him in Scotland where he was working and he agreed to come and run the kitchen for me," he said.

"I like to joke I'm the only Indian in China! Customers have told me they were really pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant here and that it's nice there is somewhere new to go for an upmarket dining experience," he added.

"I've been passionate about Indian food from a very early age, thanks my mum's wonderful home cooking. Mohur is the head chef but my mum cooks the sauces for all our dishes using her secret recipes!" he shared to the media.
