Korean boy group EXO bagged the most popular foreign group and this year's best foreign group in the recently concluded in15th Music Feng Yun Awards in Southern China.
Former H.O.T member singer Kangta received the top Hallyu Idol Award. Hallyu refers to Asianwide boom of South Korean pop culture.
The said China's Grammy Award was attended by famous celebrities like Zhou Bi Chang, Wei Chen and Hua Chenyu. The event was broadcasted live on China's famous web portal Tencent.
Exo performed some of their hit songs in Chinese during the event winning the hearts of more than 10,000 audiences.
"I want to attribute this glory to all our artists ranging from H.O.T. and BoA to TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(X), Red Velvet and to NCT that debuted today on this stage," Lee said in his acceptance speech.
Lee expressed hope that Korea and China will be able to increase more of their cooperation in co-producing world's best cultural content.
