Many of us are one our knees until the next pay day and almost have zero savings. We don't even have any emergency funds. Actually, it's easy to say that we need to spend less but it is too hard to apply. Here are some basic steps in order to get you started with spending less and saving more.

Have a Goal

Why are you budgeting? Are you saving up for something? Whatever it is, your final goal will keep you motivated to save money and spend less.

Download an app to track your budget

When you go to Playstore or Appstore, there are plenty of expense tracking application that you can download and try for free. It is helpful to keep you reminded about your savings.

Try 50 -25-25 Rule

This rule will help you in budgeting. Save the 25 percent of your money for savings, another 25 percent for emergencies and 50 percent for basic expenses.

Live a frugal life

Be contented with what you have. Instead of asking for more, make the most of what you have and be thankful. If you do this, you will not only save plenty of cash but also value money.
