"Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." In different places, there are many Christians who, in different ways, are trying to live out the truth of "a kernel of wheat."

Pastor Ming commits to the deaf

"The Lord Jesus was not only crucified for the healthy, but also for the deaf and disabled." After being touched by God, Pastor Ming of the the church for the deaf in Wanfang, Shenyang, dedicated himself to the deaf as a group and has now served them for more than 20 years.

Sister Liu commits to abandoned and severely ill children

Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" (Luke 17:17-18). Sister Liu said, "I would like to be the one to respond to the Lord's Love." She has served the abandoned children for 26 years.

Sister Lu commits to visiting severely ill, hospitalized patients

"It feels like everyone involved in the visit has real passion in their heart, and the more they serve the more powerful they become! Whenever we see a patient's needs, we are no longer weak." As a result of a random visit to a severely ill child in the hospital 10 years ago, today she shuttles through different hospitals bringing comfort to children with severe injuries as well as to their families.

Repairing Bibles for poor believers

"Are you willing to do something that is humble, trivial, and not seen by others?"

After being moved by this call to service, Elder Xu found himself serving this way, repairing Bibles for others, a service he performed for three decades.

Grandpa Jin commits to the rehabilitation of leprosy patients

"To live for these (leprosy) rehabilitated patients, I also want to be a recovering person (author's note: Live with them)." After seeing the miserable life of lepers, Brother Jin made a covenant with God: to dedicate the rest of his life to God and to love lepers who are loved by God. For the past 30 years, he has been serving in the leprosy rehabilitation village and is still serving even now at the age of 86.

"The Christian Life is about self-giving," said grandpa Jin. "I serve leprosy recoverers, not for myself, but for them. If there were only one place in the Kingdom of heaven, I would not go but leave it for a leprosy patient.
