"Descendants of the Sun" has been popular since its airing in February, not just in Korea but also in China. Along with it, the main character's popularity, Song Joong Ki soar up high too making him number one star right now that is most recognized from Korea.
However, recently on an online community board, a netizen posted a photo of Song which was photoshopped to a model for a Chinese shopping website. In this case, the actor was photoshopped to have female high heeled shoes.
The said Chinese shopping website hasn't released yet any comment with this one and Song's party hasn't release any disagreements with the said photo.
As "Descendants of the Sun" is still popular across the Asia, song Joong Ki's rises as one of the South Korea's Hallyu stars, unfortunately, so will other people are now using his photos illegally to use for advertisements.
