Chinese Girl Group S.H.E To Celebrate 16th Anniversary

Widely recognized as the most successful and enduring Chinese girl group, S.H.E will celebrate their 16 years as a group.

The three members, which consist of Selina Jen, Hebe Tien and Ella Chen have appeared together to announced their anniversary which will be celebrated and held in early September 2017. When asked what their plans are and how they will celebrate the memorable event with fans on September 11, Tien said details are yet to be announced so fans need to watch out for it.

 Since they released their debut album "Girls Dorm," S.H.E. has then recorded 12 albums which can be summed up to 10 million. They also set ticketing records in each of their previous concert tours. The girl group has built massive followings in China, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan. They are widely regarded as the Mandopop girl group who is successful and enduring even after these long years. The members acted in seven drama series together, hosted several variety shows and contributed to ten songs as soundtracks for six different drama series.

To recall, the group has been rumored to be going into a three-year break after Ella Chen announced her pregnancy in 2016. But the HIM International Music, the record label of the Taiwanese girl group, denied the rumors.

Speaking of Ella Chen, she gave birth to a baby boy in April 2017. However, the oldest member of S.H.E reportedly wanted to have another child, a baby girl. She revealed that she wished to have another baby but she also revealed that she may have to take time before planning to get her second baby with Malaysian businessman Alvin Lai.
